Trying out the link thing one more time
Okay, great. Here we are. My first attempt at this exercise got so ungainly that I scrapped it and started over. So now here I am, drinking tea, listening to the cozy hum of my computer's fan.
I would also like to make it known that I strongly dislike copperplate, this font. These feelings probably arose in my typography class, but I've known this font much longer than that. It started with my simple distate of the shape of the "C," but a visit to Columbus a few years ago impressed upon me its ubiquity. It seems like every other storefront, product packaging, and book cover sport this font... this blasted font, with it's weird C and its sturdy weight and it's twerpy little serifs. Once you start looking for it you see it all over. There is no escape...
