russet potato Hashbrown Recipe

Hi everyone. I'm Ben Link and I've recently incorporated hashbrowns into the group of staple foods that I cook for sustinance. They are cheap and filling, making them a good choice for calories when you're trying to cut costs. They can be made with most kinds of potato, but I prefer russets(pictured above) because they are large enough that one of them makes a full serving. It's common to peel the potatoes before shredding them with a cheese grater and frying them with butter and oil. However, I I don't mind the taste of the skins, so I don't peel them.
